Mission High School: Located at 801 North Veterans Memorial Drive in Las Vegas, Mission High School is a comprehensive secondary school of the Clark County School District designed for students in recovery from substance abuse, use and/or dependency. Students are provided a high quality education, coupled with life skills and multi-faceted counseling services to empower them to achieve their goals and earn a high school diploma. In a supportive learning environment, Mission High School offers alternative peer group sessions, parent support groups, and monthly guest speakers. UNLV Child School Refusal and Anxiety Clinic: A research-based outpatient facility designed to assess and treat youths with school refusal behavior and/or related anxiety problems. The Clinic serves youths aged 5-16 years and their families and operates on a September-April schedule. Clients are seen individually or in group format. With parental permission, therapists at the Clinic also contact relevant school personnel for additional information. Fees are based on a sliding scale. Click below for more information:
SEVEN HILLS HOSPITAL: Located in the Seven Hills neighborhood of Henderson, Seven Hills Hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services for both adolescents and teens struggling with various issues (including, but not limited to) alcohol and drug abuse, depression, psychosis, ADD & ADHD, PTSD, Bi-Polar Disorder, and other mental health related issues. THE HARBOR: If you’re looking for help with your child, or if you have questions about your child’s mental health, behavior, or possible drug use, The Harbor can help. The Harbor provides assessments to youth at no charge to families. The assessment process gives juveniles and families the opportunity to provide a comprehensive description of their unique family structure.
